That's right - Goldbar has a really unique position opening up right now.

The position we are hiring for is Goldbars Chief Mining Officer.

This position will give you incredible experience and expertise in the amazing world of social marketing, blog marketing, viral marketing and affiliate marketing.

Remember the contest we ran at the end of January - the one to name our new company mascot? Well, it was a roaring success and out of it Digger was born on Feb. 1, 2009.

Well, now Digger needs someone to bring him to life.

That's right - we need to hire someone for Character marketing - to play Digger for us.

Here are the responsibilities our Chief Mining Officer will have:

Create and manage the “Digger Persona”. Turn Digger into a real person whose goal it is to impress the world with his knowledge, run contests, help newbies and seasoned marketers alike to Mine the Gold in them thar internet hills.

Use humor and creativity to drive traffic and viral referrals in order to help increase traffic and sales for Goldbar products.

The Chief Mining Officers Responsibilities will include:

Blog Posting
Twitter Posting
Create Videos and upload to Video Sites
Use Social Bookmarking and Blog Commenting
Maintain a review based content site.
Use article marketing

How to Do a One Click Upsell

Many of you know that GoldbarOne is top notch in our upselling features. We have been using upsells ourself in our own business for the past 10 years and Upsells have always helped to increase our average sale by as much as 40%.

The GoldbarOne shopping cart has contained 3 different ways to do upsells since its inception in 2004. The first way is to include an upsell on your order form (actually as much as 3). The second way is to include upsells in your confirmation emails (killer strategy by the way) and the third is to do both!

Well this past year we have had numerous requests from people to build 1 Click post purchase upsells into GoldbarOne and our killer DEV team has just completed this feature.

What 1 Click Upsells do is allow you to present your customers with a page that appears AFTER they place their order that allows them to take you up on another purchase (usually with a special discount or incentive or a ONE TIME OFFER that encourages them to buy right now).

Many of our competitors are doing this in a very cludgy way so we really wanted to do something neat with our upsell feature.
